Role of PayS
PayS is a marketplace that facilitates the sale of goods and services between buyers and sellers. PayS is not directly involved in the transactions between users (buyers and sellers) and does not take possession of goods sold through the Platform. The Platform does not assume any responsibility for the quality, legality, accuracy, or safety of the products listed for sale.
User Responsibilities
Buyers:
- Buyers are responsible for carefully reviewing product descriptions and terms before making a purchase. PayS does not guarantee the accuracy or quality of the products sold through the Platform.
- Buyers must ensure prompt payment for purchased items and provide correct shipping details to avoid delivery issues.
Protection of Personal Data & Privacy
PayS is committed to protecting users’ personal data in compliance with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and local Nigerian laws. By using the Platform, users consent to PayS collecting, processing, and storing their data as described in the Privacy Policy.
PayS agrees to:
- Take appropriate security measus to protect personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
- Ensure that user data is only shared with third parties necessary for fulfilling the transaction (e.g., payment processors, shipping services) and in accordance with user consent.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PayS will not be liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising out of or related to the use of the Platform, including but not limited to:
- Transactions conducted between buyers and sellers.
- Product defects or inaccuracies.
- Misdelivery, non-delivery, or delayed delivery of items.
- Any technical errors, interruptions, or downtime that may occur on the Platform.
- Loss or corruption of user data, including payment details and transaction records.
Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless PayS, its affiliates, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) that arise out of:
- The user's violation of these terms and conditions.
- The user's breach of any law or third-party rights, including intellectual property rights.
- Any issues arising from the sale, delivery, or quality of goods sold on the Platform.
